MAY GUEST SPEAKER

At the May 1 meeting, Karen Munsell, from Our Place in Manchester, spoke of the many services her organization provides to young low-income families in the Manchester and Nashua areas. Our Place follows new parents from pregnancy through the first three years of their child’s life offering child development and parenting classes as well as referrals to community resources. Many of their clients are immigrants new to this country and unfamiliar with the area. They need help navigating the health care system as well as finding housing and employment. WSCW continues to support Our Place through its Annual Baby Shower Project.
