FEBRUARY GUEST SPEAKER DEMONSTRATES ANCIENT ASIAN EXERCISES
At the February 6 meeting, guest speaker Marie Porter explained the strengthening and calming effects of Qi Gong, a version of the ancient practice of Tai Chi. At this meeting, members got to do more than sit and watch. We were also invited to join her in several simple exercises, standing or sitting in place, and ended a great deal more relaxed than when we started! Marie teaches Qi Gong in Derry.
