Craft Fair “Thank You”

The WSCW Annual Spring Craft Fair, held at the Windham High School on April 14th, was an enormous success! We appreciate the many amazing crafters who brought such unique creations for everyone’s enjoyment.  We thank our hard-working Co-chairs, Carol Settino and Su Bennett, and all the members of craft fair committee for making this a truly memorable event.

We also extend appreciation to the following businesses for their generous support: Merrimack Repertory Theater, Common Man Restaurant, Palace Theater, Coach Stop Restaurant, Salon Bogar, The Junction, Greater Boston Stage Co., T-Bones Restaurant, Fantasian Nails, B & H Oil, Lucia’s Bodega, House of Nails, Lake Street Garden Center, Kendall Pond Pizza, 33 Hilltop, The Workout Club, Simply Wholesale, Lady Vixon Nail Salon, Stars and Stripes Gift Shop, Hair Depot, Village Bean, 99 restaurant, Talia’s Breakfast & Eatery, Janie’s Uncommon Cafe, Shaw’s in Windham, and Heavenly Donuts.

We are also very grateful to Windham High School administration staff, the custodial department, and student volunteers from Windham High School, the local Boy Scouts, Windham Independent, and Windham Cable TV-Calendar section for their assistance and support.

Volunteer of the Year

Carol Settino was named volunteer of the year at our April meeting. She joined our club in 2010 and served 6 years on the executive board, first as treasurer, then as Vice President, and finally as President. She took over our newsletter in 2015 and has done a fantastic job with it.

Carol has been a huge driving force for our craft fair, taking on the monumental task of applications, media and publicity websites. This past year she served as co-chairman.

When she joined our club we had no social groups and Carol immediately started our first book club. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the coat drive, Thanksgiving families, elections, or yard sale, you’ll always see Carol’s name on the sign up sheet.
